I would leave your steam install off of it since games dont really benefit a whole lot from it. You can then use something like SteamTool to move specific games to your SSD if you need to. I use that to put my NS2 Beta install on my SSD to increase loading times.

It will require patching minecraft for high quality textures and water. You can get the patcher here:

They just released a massive patch a few days ago that gave us a new map, the exosuit (see the last video above), and a bunch of balance changes. So far this is the best build of the game yet.

I got the map downloads to work, but it is a bit bootleg. When you download the maps you are basically looking at a blank loading screen. It actually sorta looks like the game is broken, but after a short time you appear in game.

I can add maps, we just need good maps to add. I went to add Westwood, but it was broken.

I am currently keeping an eye on this remake of de_cobble.

Let me know if you guys see any other high quality maps.

I am currently using the Corsair Vengeance 2000 headset and love it.

If you are looking for something cheaper, the Vengeance 1100 isn’t bad. I have also used the Creative Fatal1ty Headset in the past and it was fine as well.
